Following hard on the heels of the new CT 200h S with its tax-beating 87g/km emissions, Lexus has introduced another addition to its full hybrid luxury hatchback range. The new CT 200h Advance is packed with premium equipment features, such as rain-sensing wipers, cruise control, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, and a new MoveOn integrated satellite navigation system. It also introduces a new upholstery – Tahara – that supple and strong like leather, but lighter and much cleaner to produce in terms of carbon emissions and potentially hazardous by-products.

A new Lexus LS will be launched in December, and true to its heritage it will be rich in high-tech features for safety, dynamic performance and on-board entertainment and information. Early details have been released about the UK range, will include both a long-wheelbase, full hybrid LS 600h L and a return for the petrol V8-powered LS 460.

Even before the LS appears on Britain’s roads, one of North America’s top custom car design houses has given  the new limousine a make-over for this year’s SEMA show in Las Vegas. This formidable LS 460 F Sport by Five Axis was shown for the first time, alongside an array of Lexus concept and competition cars.

The Lexus LF-LC concept coupe that was the star of this year’s Detroit motor show has gone on to make headlines on the other side of the world. A new version of the attention-grabbing design study was unveiled at the Australian International Motor Show in Sydney.

Lexus has long promoted excellence in design and it’s building its reputation further with the launch of the first Lexus Design Award. Open to designers across a huge range of different fields, from fashion to architecture, it will celebrate and support the world’s finest new talent with a showcase for the winners at next year’s Milan Design Week.

Lexus has launched a new initiative to ensure it meets the needs of its business and fleet customers. The new Fleet Charter sets out how dealerships across the country will provide their fleet customers with prompt, efficient, professional and reliable service, at competitive prices.
