Lexus is ready to extend its world-famous service to customers returning to its showrooms from this week.

Following the government’s easing of Covid-19 lockdown restrictions in England, Lexus is pleased to confirm its centres will be re-opening for sales enquiries for new and used vehicles. Opening dates for locations in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are still be confirmed, but are expected within the coming weeks.

True to providing the last word in customer care, all sites will be ensuring the safety of all visitors and staff with comprehensive measures in place for social distancing and hygiene. As well as consultations in the showroom, customers will also be able to take unaccompanied test drives, with contactless drop off and collection and scrupulous cleaning of vehicles.

Access to centres will be by appointment, to ensure only safe numbers of people are present at any time. Contact details for centres, including opening days and times, can be found on the lexus.co.uk website.

For those who prefer not to travel, or who are unable to leave home at this time, Lexus is pleased to offer video sales consultations with experts. These will be made available through all UK centres during June.

Lexus workshops are already providing vehicle servicing, MOT testing and repairs, operating to strict hygiene and operating standards to safeguard customers and technicians.

Ewan Shepherd, Director of Lexus in the UK, said: “We consider it essential that, even in these exceptional circumstances, we continue to give our customers the best possible service, ensuring they feel safe and secure when visiting our centres, and have access to all the information and advice they require if they prefer not to travel.

“We are approaching an exciting time as we prepare for the introduction of our first all-electric model, the UX 300e, and look forward to the launch of the LC Convertible. Ordering will commence for both models during July, alongside our established range of self-charging hybrid SUVs, saloons and coupes.”

Scrappage savings

Lexus has been operating its own scrappage scheme since 2017, giving customers the opportunity to dispose of their old vehicle and gain savings on the recommended retail price of a new model. This currently applies to the CT hatchback, UX, NX, RX and RX L SUVs and ES saloon, with savings of up to £4,000 available.

Enhanced offers on CT and UX

Lexus has enhanced summer offers for two of the most popular models in its market-leading range of luxury self-charging hybrids.

The CT hatchback is now available with 2.9 per cent APR Representative and a £2,000 Hybrid Deposit Contribution, on terms of up to 48 months. This gives a potential saving of £25 per month compared to the terms available prior to the lockdown period. Details and terms and conditions are available here.

Similarly, the new UX urban SUV is being offered with 3.9 per cent APR Representative and a £2,000 Hybrid Deposit Contribution, on terms of up to 48 months. This reduces monthly payments by £35, compared to the pre-lockdown figures. Details and terms and conditions are available here.

Used vehicles

Lexus’s famous reliability makes an approved used vehicle purchase an attractive proposition, with a new 3.9 per cent APR Representative finance offer available through Lexus Centres until 30 September 2020. Details and terms and conditions are available here
