Lexus crafted in cardboard
Inspired by origami and skills of its Japanese takumi craftsmen and women, Lexus commissioned a replica IS made entirely of cardboard. The driveable model proved a sensation at the Grand Designs Live show. Read more here and here.
UK specifications and prices for new RC
Lexus has confirmed equipment specifications and pricing for the new RC and customers can place their orders now. The range includes the full hybrid RC 300h and the turbo petrol-powered RC 200t. Read more here.
Lexus GS adapted for automated driving
Toyota is using a specially adapted GS saloon to road test its automated driving technology. The car has been running on Tokyo’s Shuto Expressway in a trial of the Highway Teammate concept, in preparation for market-ready systems being available as soon as 2020. Read more here.
