Lexus Fits The Bill At National Police Fleet Managers Conference
Lexus returns to the annual conference of National Police Fleet Managers on 2–3 September with a range of vehicles well equipped to serve the needs of the nation’s law enforcers.
A full line-up of IS, GS, LS and RX models will be on display at Cheltenham Racecourse, demonstrating the strength in depth of the Lexus brand. Hybrid power cars will be to the fore with the RX 400h and GS 450h presented in full police livery, showing how Lexus has succeeded in combining high performance with excellent fuel efficiency and lower CO2 emissions through its world-leading powertrain technology.
For police and other public and emergency service users, Lexus hybrid power delivers premium quality and proven reliability with more attractive running costs and better environmental performance than many of its premium segment rivals.
The hybrid vehicles will be joined by a petrol V6-powered RX 350 SUV squad car and IS 200d and IS 250 sports saloons in covert police car trim. Completing the line-up will be standard versions of the GS 300, LS 600h limousine – the hybrid power flagship of the Lexus range – and the formidable IS F ultra-high performance saloon.
Andy Simpson, Manager National Corporate and Remarketing Sales said: “The advanced technology, reliability and exceptional quality of Lexus models make them strong fleet propositions across the board. For police customers, they provide a compelling proposition, whether they are required as standard transport or for special ‘front line’ duties.”
