Lexus ambassador Alfie Hewett wins two championship titles at the US Open

Lexus congratulates its ambassador Alfie Hewett on claiming championship titles in both the men’s singles and men’s doubles wheelchair tennis competitions at the US Open.

Hewett beat the world number one player Tokito Oda 6-0 7-5 on Saturday to win the 11^th Grand Slam singles title of his career.

This followed his victory the previous day with long-standing partner Gordon Reid in the men’s wheelchair doubles, overcoming the pairing of Martin de la Punte and Ruben Spaargaren 2-6 6-3 10-7. This was the sixth US open title for Hewett and Reid and their third Grand Slam title of the 2026 season, confirming their status as the world’s leading wheelchair doubles team. His latest successes take Hewett’s overall career tally to 37 grand slam championships.
