Richard Balshaw

Richard Balshaw was appointed to the new role of Director, Corporate Services on 1 July 2026. 

This follows his return to Toyota (GB) in 2024 to take up the position of Director, Strategy, Business Transformation and People. 

During the previous five years Balshaw was on secondment firstly to Toyota Financial Services (UK) as Development and Mobility Services Director, before joining KiNTO, the UK arm of Toyota’s international mobility services business, as Group Vice President. 

Balshaw began his career at Toyota (GB) in 1994 as an after sales area manager and went on to hold general manager positions in lean operations, after sales and fleet and remarketing before promotion to sales director in 2009. He was subsequently Director of Lexus, then Director, Customer Services.
