MEDIA ADVISORY: Courtney Scott joins the Lexus and Toyota press team
The Lexus and Toyota press office welcomes Courtney Scott as its new Operations Manager. Courtney has joined the team to provide maternity cover for Kerry Sainsbury, who recently became the proud parent of her first baby.
She takes up the reins to lead organisation of our busy schedule of national and international media launches and events, supported by Veronica Painter, PR Events Officer, and Emma Smith, Press Office Co-ordinator, and reporting to Charlie Holcomb, Head of PR. She is also leading Toyota’s delivery of the Media Experience Centre, a new multi-discipline functions and creative brand facility that is also the new home of our extensive press and heritage vehicle fleets.
Courtney has moved across to the PR department from her previous role as Brand Awareness Manager with the Toyota (GB) Brand Marketing Team where she led above-the-line advertising to support new product launches and priority models.
Prior to joining Toyota, Courtney graduated from Bournemouth University with a degree in PR and communications and progressed to marketing and brand management roles with Unilever and Walgreens Boots Alliance.
Courtney said: “This is a hugely exciting step for me and it comes with a great deal of responsibility. Kerry and the team have a built a reputation for delivering events and schedules that are perfectly tailored to our media’s requirements, so I am keen to play my part in keeping up that track record. The new Media Experience Centre is another major project that I am hugely excited to be a part of.
“I’m looking forward to getting to know all the journalists, broadcasters, photographers and influencers we work with and developing our strategy to give them the best possible service.”
