Steve Settle Announced As New Lexus Director
Lexus GB today announced the appointment of Steve Settle as its new Director with effect from 1 February 2005.
Settle, 48, joins Lexus GB from Toyota Motor Marketing Europe (TMME) and will have overall responsibility for all Lexus operations in Great Britain.
Following a period with Fiat UK, Steve joined Toyota GB in 1979 and went on to gain a wide experience in many areas of the business including aftersales, marketing, dealer development and the centre network.
During the past seven years Steve gained an international perspective of Toyota and Lexus through his time at the European head office, where he was most recently Director of the Customer Services Group.
Settle succeeds Karl Schlicht who moves into the role of Vice President, Lexus and Corporate Planning at TMME in Brussels.
Speaking of his appointment, Settle said, “I am thrilled to be taking on this key role as Lexus embarks on perhaps the most exciting period in its history.
“This year we will release the completely redesigned Lexus GS and introduce the world’s first luxury hybrid with the Lexus RX400h. I look forward to leading the talented Lexus GB team and working with the remarkable network of Lexus centres across the country as the brand continues its growth in the premium sector of the UK market.”
