New Lexus pricing makes electrified motoring more affordable

Lexus has introduced a new pricing structure for its battery electric and plug-in hybrid luxury SUVs, making premium quality electrified motoring accessible and affordable for more customers.

The changes, effective from this week, cover all versions of the battery electric UX 300e and RZ 450e and the plug-in hybrid NX 450h+ and RX 450h+. The realignment of the on-the-road prices further enhances this summer’s Lexus Personal Contract Purchase (PCP) offers, with the potential for new customers to benefit from lower monthly repayments (see examples below). Similarly, benefits extend to business customers through KINTO One business contract hire plans.

Further Lexus ownership benefits

Enhanced pricing adds to the wider benefits currently available for Lexus customers.

• Warranty protection for up to 10 years/100,000 miles: all Lexus vehicles are eligible for warranty cover extending up to 10 years/100,000 miles. This comprises an initial three-year manufacturer warranty, followed by up to a further seven years of service-activated warranty. For the first three years of the car’s life, owners can have it serviced at a place of their choice. When the new car warranty period expires, they can then benefit from an additional 12 months (or 10,000 miles) warranty when their vehicle has a qualifying service at an authorised Lexus workshop. The warranty is provided at no extra cost, up to a limit of 10 years/100,000 miles (terms and conditions at www.lexus.co.uk).

• Bespoke Lexus Insurance product for the RZ 450e: Lexus has introduced its first mileage-based insurance, available for the RZ 450e and which offering the potential for an end-of-year refund. The amount of refund is calculated by comparing the policyholder’s declared miles and the actual distance they cover during the policy term. When purchasing the insurance, the customer declares the mileage they forecast they will travel in their RZ in the next 12 months and this is factored into the cost of the premium. At the 11^th month of the insurance period, the total for the whole year is calculated; if this is less than the declared mileage, a refund is calculated based on what the insurance premium would have been using the lower mileage figure. • Lexus HomeCharge wallbox offer: Lexus has extended its offer for the supply and installation of a domestic Lexus HomeCharge wallbox for EV and plug-in hybrid vehicle charging. • Lexus Reserve: Lexus Reserve is a new programme – the first of its kind on the market – which offers owners of Lexus electric vehicles (RZ 300e, RZ 450e and UX 300e) 42 days’ complimentary use of an additional Lexus hybrid vehicle over a three-year period. It’s designed to provide convenience and peace of mind, primarily for people planning a long journey such as a European road trip in areas with a limited charging infrastructure, or for those who might need a larger vehicle for a specific task or journey.
