New Lexus LS Flagship Saloon To Make Global Debut at the 2017 North American International Auto Show
The fifth generation Lexus LS flagship saloon will make its world debut at the 2017 North American International Auto Show in Detroit next month.
The introduction of the original LS 400 at the same event in 1989 made automotive history, making its mark as a car that offered premium vehicle luxury, performance and quietness and also heralding the birth of the new Lexus brand.
Twenty-eight years later, the all-new LS saloon will offer a bold new look, presenting a coupe-like silhouette without compromising interior spaciousness. It will feature visionary technology and will be built on an extended version of Lexus’s new global architecture for luxury vehicles (GA-L) rear-wheel drive platform. Shared with the forthcoming LC luxury coupe, this will help the new LS deliver a more dynamic driving experience.
