The World’s First Hybrid Power SUV: The Lexus RX400h
The Lexus RX400h makes its UK debut at the Sunday Times Motor Show Live, a vehicle that is set to make history as the first hybrid petrol-electric production model in the premium car market when sales begin in early 2005.
The new Lexus RX300 has already delivered outstanding results since reaching the UK market in May, helping to drive Lexus’s sales to record levels in July and outperforming its key rival petrol-powered luxury SUVs.
Lexus’s all-new RX300 luxury SUV has achieved exceptional sales results, less than a month since it reached British showrooms. In May almost 400 were registered, a performance that outstrips all its key market competitors.

Five years after the original Lexus RX300 created the luxury sport utility segment and became a best seller with more than 500,000 units sold worldwide, the new generation Lexus RX300 further raises the segment benchmarks.
The new Lexus RX300 luxury SUV, due for launch in May, may have a higher top speed than its predecessor but it looks certain to be even slower to depreciate.
