Lexus the UK’s number one for reliability and customer satisfaction

Lexus has reaffirmed its position as the UK’s most reliable and satisfying car brand, taking first place in both categories in the 2023 Honest John Satisfaction Index. 

Each year, Honest John invites the thousands of users of its motoring news and advice website to rate their vehicle in key areas, including reliability, practicality and performance. Once again, Lexus has proved a top performer, according to the real-world experiences and opinions of British motorists.

“It’s the fourth successive year it has been rated as the best brand for reliability, which is an incredible result for a car company that has had no equal when it comes to build quality in the history of the Honest John Satisfaction Index. 

“Six thousand car owners took part in our latest index, and Lexus swept its rivals aside to secure the top spot with an average satisfaction score of 92.37 per cent. The Lexus NX (2014 – 2021 model) emerged as the UK’s best car for reliability, achieving an incredible model average of 9.98 out of 10.” 

Reflecting the unmatched reliability of its vehicles, Lexus offers a manufacturer’s warranty of up to 10 years/100,000 miles on all its cars – new, nearly new, and those which have passed through multiple ownerships. The cover comprises the three-year/60,000-mile warranty provided for all new vehicles, followed a by a service-activated warranty that adds a further 12 months/10,000 miles each time the car is serviced at a qualifying Lexus workshop. The warranty is applied to the car automatically, at no extra cost to the customer, up to a limit of 10 years or 100,000 miles (whichever comes first)*.
