Lexus future fuel cell concept
The Lexus LF-FC concept was one of the big reveals at the Tokyo motor show, a design exercise for a new flagship model in the “grand tourer” traditions, powered by a hydrogen fuel cell system. Read more here.
Luxury craftsmanship in the new RX
The luxury features and comfort of the new Lexus RX express omotenashi, the traditional Japanese principles of hospitality. The new SUV, due in the UK early next year, also displays advanced technologies and special finishes, such as the laser etching of wood trim elements – a technique featured in the making of concert-quality grand pianos. Lexus: Made in the USA
The first Lexus to be built in the USA has been welcomed off the production line at Toyota’s factory in Georgetown, Kentucky. The plant is making the ES saloon thanks to investment of $360 million and around 1.5 million hours of worker training. Read more here.
