Lexus most reliable manufacturer in Auto Trader awards
UK motorists have voted Lexus the nation’s Most Reliable Brand in the Auto Trader Awards 2018.
Unlike many other motor industry awards which are determined by editorial judging panels, the Auto Trader New Car Awards are based on the opinions of around 43,000 car drivers who responded to a detailed online survey. The results of the second annual awards were announced at a presentation ceremony in London today.
Ivan Aistrop, Auto Trader’s Road Test Editor, said: “It’s no surprise to see Lexus front-and-centre when it comes to reliability, because the brand has carved out an enviable reputation in this area over a number of years. This award proves that owners of the car are genuinely seeing the benefits of their car’s mechanical dependability on a day-to-day basis, and more importantly, that they appreciate it. Good work, Lexus.”
Erin Baker, Auto Trader’s Editorial Director, congratulated Lexus and all the award-winners “for continuing to push the boundaries of innovation” and for earning a seal of approval from car owners themselves.
