Lexus Launches Culinary Perspectives, its First Digital Cookbook

23 July 2020

Lexus International has launched Culinary Perspectives, its first global digital cookbook, put together by writer and editor Joshua David Stein, a James Beard Award nominated author whose work has appeared in the Best American Food Writing and a former restaurant critic for the Village Voice and New York Observer.  The first of two installments, Culinary Perspectives Volume I, is a collection of eight recipes, each by a different globally recognised chef and Lexus partner, with exotic flavours of the Eastern and Australasia regions.  The cookbook is arranged as a menu for a multi-course meal.  The recipes involve a range of difficulty levels, for novice through to expert cooks, and can be mastered in the comfort of one’s home.

The cookbook is available to download here: Lexus Culinary Perspectives cookbook Vol 1

Creating food and elevating it into culinary art presents an evolved level of craftsmanship, which is one of the central pillars represented by the Lexus brand.

The cookbook’s foreword is by US Chef Nyesha J. Arrington, known for her advocacy of recipes using farm fresh, local, and responsibly sourced ingredients, and celebrates amazing meals and also the hospitality, or omotenashi, which is central to the Lexus brand.

Brian Bolain, General Manager, Lexus International said: “Culinary Perspectives enables the brand to connect with its audience on a topic that is of deep personal interest to them, while recognising some of the world’s most talented craftspeople in the culinary space. We hope our audience will embrace this opportunity to explore their own epicurean artisanship.”
