Lexus Best To Sell As Well

10 August 2004

Repeated JD Power successes have shown that a Lexus is the most satisfying car to own and the latest Sewells Dealer Attitude Survey proves it is also the best to sell.

The luxury car maker came out top in 12 of the 15 categories and was second in the other three. Overall Lexus beat Porsche, sister brand Toyota and arch rival BMW in the league table.

The annual survey asks dealers across the country to judge the car makers on various aspects of the business, including supply of cars and parts, warranty and marketing. Lexus ranked no lower than third in any of the individual categories.

Commenting on the result, Karl Schlicht, Lexus Director, said: “I am very pleased our dealers feel we are delivering what they need to allow them to do a great job for their customers, which in the end is what it is all about. We pride ourselves on offering the best customer experience in the business and that cannot be achieved without the dealers playing a vital and proactive role. Keeping them happy is not only good business sense, it is common sense.”
