Other prestige car companies must wonder what they have to do to beat Lexus. Not only do the cars win award after award for quality and customer satisfaction, now the Lexus magazine is winning trophies too.
Lexus magazine has won the International Publication of the Year at the APA Customer Magazine Awards 2003. Produced on behalf of Lexus by publishers, Just, the magazine was also shortlisted for the Most Effective Automotive Title of the Year award.
The talent working on the Lexus magazine was also recognised when Nathanael Potter was shortlisted in the PTC New Journalist of the Year Awards for New Magazine Designer of the Year for his work on the luxury car magazine.
The judges who voted Lexus magazine a winner described it as “an indulgent magazine that brings the brand lifestyle of Lexus to life. It doesn’t feel that it belongs to any one country – it is an international brand.”
Speaking after the award, Karl Schlicht, Director of Lexus GB, said, “Of course it’s great to have our work recognised in this way, but we are never complacent or arrogant. We only achieve these awards because of our focus on always giving the customer what they want.”
