Lexus congratulates Alfie Hewett OBE on his Wimbledon success

Lexus congratulates Alfie Hewett OBE on winning a seventh wheelchair doubles title at Wimbledon with his partner Gordon Reid and finishing runner-up in the men’s wheelchair singles competition. It completes a superb grass court season for Hewett which opened with him serving a unique set of tennis balls delivered by Lexus from the edge of space.

Hewett, a Lexus ambassador, is the world’s No2 ranked singles and, jointly with Reid, No1 ranked doubles player.  In his career to date, he has won 35 major titles, 10 of these in singles and 25 in doubles.

In his association with Lexus, Hewett has also had the opportunity to face his own championship-winning serve. The Lexus Signature Shot machine was programmed to deliver the 93mph service which won him his 2024 Wimbledon singles title.
