Media Advisory: Rosie Parkin joins the Lexus and Toyota press office team
Rosemary (Rosie) Parkin has joined the Lexus and Toyota press team on a student placement for the coming year, following on from Kira Marsh, who is returning to Brighton University to complete her event management and marketing degree.
Rosie, who has just completed her second year studying English literature at Durham University, will be supporting all aspects of the Lexus and Toyota press relations operation – communications, events, media reporting and analysis and day-to-day liaison with our media contacts.
“This placement will give me valuable practical experience, applying my love for reading and writing to a new environment,” she said. “I’m keen to understand the daily operations of a press office, and I’m excited to work with the amazing team.”
Having grown up on the Dorset coast, Rosie enjoys spending time outside of work and study at the beach. From beach-cricket to parkour, she enjoys a wide variety of sports.
Kira Marsh said: “I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in the PR team, where I gained hands-on experience, met fantastic journalists and worked with an inspiring group of people that made every moment memorable. As I head back to university I’m excited to apply all that I have learned.”
The press office welcomes Rosie to the team and thanks Kira for all her hard work throughout the past year, wishing her every success in the future.
