Lexus provides official transport for the Lexus Billie Jean King Cup team at London Play-Offs
Lexus is providing the official transport for the Lexus Great Britain team competing in the Billie Jean King Cup Play-Offs at the Copper Box Arena in London, from 11 to 12 November. The event will see the nation’s top women players take on Sweden for a place in the qualifying round for next year’s cup competition.
A fleet of vehicles including the Lexus RX Hybrid and Plug-In Hybrid electric SUVs, will transport players, support staff and officials, to and from the venue during the London based tournament.
The Lexus Great Britain Billie Jean King Cup Team includes British No1 and No2 singles players Katie Boulter and Jodie Burrage, together with Harriet Dart, Heather Watson and Maia Lumsden.
Lexus is the Official Performance Partner and Official Automotive Partner of the LTA and is a headline sponsor of the Great Britain teams taking part in the Billie-Jean King Cup and the Davis Cup.
Chris Hayes, Director of Lexus in the UK, commented: “We’re looking forward to showcasing the famous Lexus omotenashi (hospitality) to tennis players and fans alike during the Billie Jean King Cup in London. Having recently provided a fleet of cars for the men’s teams at the Davis Cup finals in Manchester, we know how intense and nail-biting national team tennis competition can be. We hope the Lexus Great Britain team players will enjoy the calm and comfort of the Lexus cars we’re providing throughout the tournament.”
