Senior Management Changes At Lexus GB
Lexus GB Director, Stuart McCullough, is leaving his position within the UK organisation to take up responsibility for the development of the strategic direction of the Lexus business across Europe. He will start his new role as Lexus Director, Europe from 2 September.
McCullough joined Lexus (GB) Ltd in 1998 as Sales Operations Manager and was appointed to his present role in 1999. During his time at Lexus GB, McCullough brought the franchise from the margins to mainstream with the introduction of several new models – most significantly the IS range. He also presided over the creation of a separate Lexus dealer network to handle the increased business opportunity created by the new product introductions. Sales have risen five fold since the introduction of the IS range and the UK is now second only to the USA in Lexus sales.
“I am personally delighted that Stuart has been offered the opportunity to join the wider Lexus organisation and contribute to the future success of Lexus in Europe,” commented Graham Smith, Managing Director of Toyota (GB) PLC, head of the Toyota and Lexus brands in the UK.
Focused on delivering quality and outstanding customer service, McCullough has seen Lexus GB recognised with many awards such as successive JD Power Customer Satisfaction Awards.
“We expect to be able to announce the appointment of Stuart’s successor within the next few weeks,” said Smith. “But in the interim period, Stuart will retain responsibility for the UK operation to ensure full continuity of the business.”
