Lexus Select honoured in What Car? Used Car Awards
True to the spirit of Lexus’s brand-defining omotenashi hospitality and service, the Lexus Select programme offers pre-owned vehicles of the highest quality, together with a comprehensive package of customer benefits. Today the programme has been recognised for excellence in the 2025 What Car? Used Car Awards.
Mark Pearson, What Car? Used Cars Editor, said: “We’ve long admired the build quality and imperturbable reliability of Lexus models, but for anyone contemplating buying one used, the Select scheme really is the icing on the cake.
“Take your Lexus to a main dealer every year for a service and your car will automatically gain another 12 months’ warranty. This applies to any model in the range up to a maximum of 10 years old, or a car with up to 100,000 miles on the clock. Add in a 12-year hybrid battery warranty and a comprehensive 150-point check and, for us, the Lexus scheme stands apart from all its rivals.”
All Lexus Select vehicles undergo a 150-point technical check prior to being offered for sale. This rigorous procedure includes confirmation of the engine and battery condition, mechanical parts quality and hybrid system health.
The Lexus Select Warranty covers cars that are under 10 years old or 100,000 miles, for a minimum of 12 months. An additional 12-month/10,000-mile warranty it automatically provided with every qualifying service, up to 10 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first*.
In addition, all vehicles come complete with 12 months’ full Lexus Roadside Assistance cover, including roadside and at-home breakdown and recovery services, plus a safety kit in the boot*.
Lexus Select pre-owned vehicles are available from Lexus centres nationwide and can also be purchased on-line. For full information and to use the vehicle search facility, visit www.lexus.co.uk/pre-owned/lexus-select.
Lexus shared the award with its sister brand Toyota, which operates Toyota Relax, a similar used car scheme.
