Lexus Number One for New Car Servicing in What Car? Survey
Motorists have voted Lexus centres Britain’s best when it comes to servicing new cars. What Car? magazine’s customer satisfaction survey puts the brand in equal first place for franchised dealer servicing of cars aged from nought to three years with an impressive 92.6 per cent satisfaction rating.
By also earning a top-five ranking for its performance servicing cars up to 20 years old, Lexus achieved third place overall in the survey, just one percentage point behind the top-ranked manufacturer. Results were based on car owners’ opinions of the quality of work carried out, staff attitude and value for money.
Steve Huntingford, What Car? editor, said: “Almost 90 per cent of UK motorists initially have their cars serviced at a franchised dealer, making the experience you can expect an important consideration when deciding what to buy. Lexus clearly understands this, because it sets the standard for both customer service and quality of work. And while the level of satisfaction with many brands plummets as their cars age, our survey shows Lexus owners continue to receive attentive behaviour from staff and a high standard of workmanship.”
Ewan Shepherd, Director of Lexus in the UK, said: “Delivering an exceptional experience has always been central to our brand and we continue to invest in giving our customers – and their vehicles – the highest standards of care and attention. Our success in this survey rewards the exceptional efforts everyone at Lexus makes to achieve our customer service goals, not least the skilled technicians in our workshops.”
