Lexus Held In Highest Esteem By UK Dealers
The relationship between Lexus and its UK network of centres is stronger, more effective and more rewarding than for any other manufacturer. The results of the latest Dealer Attitude Survey by the National Franchised Dealers Association show Lexus performing better than any other brand and achieving a maximum satisfaction rating in a number of key areas.
Lexus’s pre-eminence was confirmed in its dealers’ response to the question of how they rate the value of their franchise, compared to all other franchises. On a one-to-10 scale, Lexus achieved 9.8, ousting BMW from the top spot.
The NFDA survey, conducted twice a year, asked for responses to a series of statements about aspects of dealers’ business relationships with their manufacturer or vehicle importer. Lexus’s emphatic performance included the strongest possible positive views about parts and vehicle distribution and future profit potential. Other areas where Lexus performed particularly well included the product positioning and pricing, availability and training issues.
Karl Schlicht, Director of Lexus, said: “This survey reinforces how Lexus’s determination to be the best extends to all areas of its business. It is by building such an effective and sustainable relationship with our centres that we can continue to deliver the very highest standards of service to our customers.”
The NFDA survey also recorded a strong performance by Toyota with positive responses to all questions, including a top rating for the frequency of model replacement.
