A city at night, a figure searching the streets for someone special: it’s the simple story of Steps, the first television commercial in Lexus’s Amazing in Motion global advertising campaign. The drama-in-miniature, acted out by two spectacular, larger than life figures, is given extra resonance and appeal thanks to its distinctive soundtrack featuring Kristina Train singing I’m Wanderin’, a track that has just been released as a single.
Lexus’ dedication to design in its products and global brand activities was celebrated with members of the design community at an event called “Design Matters” hosted by Lexus President, Akio Toyoda, in New York City on April 19. American singer and actress, Kristin Chenoweth served as mistress of ceremonies with The Roots and Questlove providing musical entertainment.
