Chris joined Toyota GB in 2003, holding various field-based roles before a stint with the Global Knowledge Centre (GKC) in Torrance, California as Marketing Manager. Chris returned to the UK in 2009 to lead the sales and supply planning team, prior to his first executive appointment in May 2011 as General Manager of Vehicle Marketing.
In his role as Marketing Director, Chris has responsibility for the development of Toyota’s product marketing and communication in the UK. He took up his new position on 2 September 2013.
Chris’s previous motor industry experience includes seven years with Ford UK, and was originally recruited as part of their graduate leadership programme.
Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Chris is married with one daughter (Sophie, 3) and in his spare time enjoys cricket, golf, travelling and spending time with his family.
