CT 200h F-SPORT
- New F-Sport will extend appeal of CT 200h to a wider customer base
- Bespoke exterior and interior design features and higher standard equipment specification
Launched in spring 2010, the Lexus CT 200h remains the only fully hybrid premium compact car. CT 200h has attracted younger customers to the brand and contributed significantly to Lexus’s growth in Europe. As of March 2011, it has accounted for more than 70 per cent of Lexus Hybrid Drive orders and more than half the total Lexus European order bank.
With 94g/km CO2 emissions, it offers tax advantages for both private and company car drivers in the UK, and for fleet operators through lower Write-Down Allowances.
The 2011 Frankfurt motor show marks the European debut of a new F-Sport version, which will extend the appeal of the CT 200h to an even wider customer base.
The F-Sport stands out thanks to a number of bold exterior design features, including front and rear aero bumpers and a mesh treatment for the upper and lower front grilles. Outward flaring side skits reinforce the front to rear flow of the character line at the lower edge of the front bumper, and make the body appear to sit lower to the ground. There is also a larger spoiler, extending an extra 30mm to improve aerodynamic performance. The F-Sport rides on 17-inch dark-finish alloy wheels and carries F-Sport side badging.
In the cabin the steering wheel is trimmed in perforated leather and there are aluminium pedals, a black roof lining and F-Sport Lexus scuff plates. A choice of F-Sport upholstery will include a mesh-pattern fabric with black side bolsters, or black leather with contrasting white perforations.
Additional equipment features will be provided as standard, including (UK specification to be confirmed) cruise control, a lateral performance damper system and auto-dimming rear-view mirror with integral rear-view camera screen. Optional items such as full-map navigation, heated, electrically adjustable seats, LED headlights and Smart Entry and Start will also be available.
